ICIST 2024

The prime focus of ICIST is to foster academic exchanges in the dynamic field of information system technology. In today's interconnected world, information technology has profoundly revolutionized business operations and social interactions. By transforming data into organizational knowledge, information systems have become the cornerstone for organizations across many fields, facilitating smooth communication, efficient operations, and strategic decision-making.

With the advancement in information technology come both challenges and remarkable opportunities. The rapid development of information systems brings forth concerns about cybersecurity and privacy. Expanding data volume and increased reliance on interconnected systems also pose challenges in terms of data management and system integration. On the other hand, the integration of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and blockchains opens doors to new possibilities. In this context, ICIST is committed to providing a platform to delve into these complexities, where researchers can present the latest research work, and discuss the most recent innovations and challenges in the fields of information systems and technology. The agenda will feature invited/keynote speeches delivered by distinguished experts and presentations of peer-reviewed research works. In addition, social programs or academic visits will be arranged to encourage communication, discussion, and cooperation.

This is the first edition, and it will be in-person or hybrid. ICIST 2024 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from June 29th-30th, 2024. We cordially invite submissions presenting original high-quality research in various areas of information technology, including information system design, enterprise system development, data management, information security, and more.
